Who Said Latin's Dead? is a modern course with a traditional focus.

Common Entrance grammar and vocabulary are neatly woven into the tale of Guy and Olivia, two school children who find themselves transported back to Ancient Rome and suddenly dependent upon their conjugations and declensions to find their way back to modern day Britain.

The revised edition of the course comprises nine workbooks, three for each of the three levels of the Common Entrance syllabus. It is known as the express edition, as it is a condensed version of the original edition. The original edition is also available, though this has not been revised to align with the most recent ISEB CE syllabus update.

Each chapter contains a translation or a comprehension following a single storyline, one or two grammatical topics with a series of related activities, a list of vocabulary to learn and an extension section containing puzzles, English-Latin sentences and a passage for prose composition.

The course and its format have been designed with children and young people in mind.
